My Work Process |
Once the faux-finish texture on the walls was done, the client decided that the plain white columns could use something as well. They now have a rich "marble" look to complement the coppers and browns on the walls. |
Faux Finishes and Murals Whether residential or commercial, private individual or business client, all projects start with a meeting. For faux-finish and mural projects, I like to begin by visiting the space (indoors or outside) where the work will be done. Different surfaces require different tools and techniques, so I like to see the surface I'll be working on and take any measurements and reference photos that might be needed. From this initial meeting, I'm able to provide a cost estimate for your project. I require a fifty percent down payment, with the balance due on completion. It's not possible for me to list prices here, as every project is a custom order, created just for you. Portraits and Commissioned Paintings For portraits, clients either provide me with their own favorite photos of the subject, or I can arrange a custom photo session from which we'll choose the final pose, backround, etc... to be included in the painting. Portraits and other commissioned paintings require a one-third down payment. After the initial sketches and underpainting are approved, another payment is due, with the final one-third payment due on completion of the painting. Any changes or alterations that are requested after the approval stage will be costed into the final payment. |
Your satisfaction is my main goal. No matter the project type, I want you to be pleased with the outcome, and have something you'll be able to enjoy for many years to come. All my work is guaranteed (full terms and conditions will be covered at the initial meeting). I want all my clients to feel confident about the process and thrilled with the results! |
